Redbox Storage integrates FPS, eDDA, and automated payments with Finverse to streamline payment operations

Redbox Storage, an ambitious Hong Kong-based storage provider, operates modern facilities from Shatin to Chai Wan to Tsuen Wan. To support its growth, Redbox implemented Finverse’s payment orchestration platform, integrating FPS, eDDA, and automated systems for efficient management of both recurring and one-time payments.

“Finverse has been a game changer for us. By consolidating all our payment channels into a single data stream, we’ve simplified our operations significantly. Recurring payments are now automated, and managing multiple payment methods like FPS and eDDA has become seamless. The integration with our existing systems was smooth, and the real-time visibility into our revenue metrics has allowed us to focus on scaling the business rather than dealing with payment complexities.”

The challenge

Redbox needed to manage a variety of payment methods — FPS, direct debit, and cards — but internally, these diverse channels created complexity. High administrative costs and time-consuming manual reconciliation slowed operations. One of the main pain points? Converting one-time customers into predictable, recurring revenue.

"To support payment choice, Redbox would have various payment methods: cards, FPS payments, bank transfers. Even digital payment methods had their own data stream. Understanding what was coming in and out was a challenge."

Low-cost payments like FPS and eDDA were previously high-cost to manage, further complicating the process. Redbox also didn’t have a unified view of payment data, which made revenue tracking difficult and hindered centralised visibility across senior teams.

The solution

Finverse brought all payment channels into one seamless system. Using its payment orchestration platform, Redbox consolidated every method — from FPS QR to eDDA — into a single data stream, simplifying operations and enabling the automation of recurring payments.

The result? Redbox could simplify its operations and focus on systems to support scale.

"Finverse helped us connect our billing system to automated payments. Doing it ourselves would’ve taken six months or longer given the complexities of our backend and working with Sitelink/R6."

The co-created solution also integrated smoothly with Redbox’s existing booking and billing systems. On top of that, the implementation process as well as ongoing support was seamless, allowing Redbox to transition without any disruptions.

“Senior-level support [at Finverse] is just a WhatsApp message away. Typical response time to any issue is within minutes.”

The impact

Since implementing Finverse, Redbox has seen major improvements:

Automated recurring payments: Automating payments turned one-time customers into predictable, recurring clients, improving revenue consistency.

Revenue visibility: Redbox can now monitor payments in real-time, reducing errors and boosting financial oversight.

"Finverse brings all payments under a single data stream, so the business leadership can have full and updated visibility through a single dashboard."

Scalable, cost-efficient management: With seamless integration, Redbox can now manage low-cost payments like FPS and eDDA efficiently, while reducing admin overhead.

"As a team, they understand the challenge of recurring collections inside out. Finverse is a reliable thought partner in the digital transformation journey.”
